SR Construction Begins Construction on MacFarlane Medical Office Building Design/Build Project
Las Vegas—(October XX, 2007) - SR Construction Vice President Rob Silecchia recently announced the firm will begin construction on the MacFarlane (MOB) medical office building located on the northeast corner of Warm Springs and Gagnier Roads, which is directly adjacent to the new St. Rose Dominican Hospitals’ San Martin campus.
The 42,000 square-foot, three-story steel structure is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2008. Estimated construction costs for the project are approximately $6.3 million. The design/build project was awarded to SR Construction by Capovilla Management, LLC. Moser Architecture Studio will serve as the architect on the project.
The owner chose the design/build method of construction over the traditional design-bid-build process to allow for single-source responsibility during the design phase of the project. In addition, SR Construction provides preconstruction services ranging from schematic and conceptual budgeting through design development, value engineering and final contract pricing.
SR Construction is a full service design/build general contractor whose commercial construction experience includes medical, office, hospitality, retail, warehouse, parks and churches around Southern Nevada since 1991. A member of the Design Build Institute of America, SR Construction has completed numerous projects throughout the valley including the awarding winning projects; The Park at Spanish Ridge, China Spice Restaurant at the Green Valley Ranch Hotel and Casino, the ICU three-story addition at Summerlin Hospital and DragonRidge Country Club.
