SR Construction Completes Salt Lick Restaurant
At Santa Fe Station Casino
LAS VEGAS (July 20, 2007) – SR Construction CEO Scott Loughridge announced the firm has completed the restaurant remodel of the 10,200 square-foot Salt Lick restaurant at Santa Fe Station. The project is located at 4949 North Rancho Drive at the intersection of North Rancho Drive and I-95 in Las Vegas.
This unique barbeque restaurant venue was first introduced by Station Casinos at their new Red Rock Casino in Summerlin in the spring of 2006. The Salt Lick remodel at Santa Fe Station consisted of a complex front and back of house demo and remodel. Sophisticated smoker ovens line the kitchen space and the elaborate fully operational open pit barbeque provides a fascinating background where patrons can view the unique barbeque process live.
As with all Station Casino restaurants, the signature Salt Lick features a material palette to include stacked stone, wood trusses, exposed steel beams, concrete stained floors and standing seam roofs. This fast-track highly complex project was completed on schedule in 4.7 months and was under budget. The project was awarded to SR Construction by Station Casinos, Inc. Friedmutter Group served as architect for the remodel.
