Description

The Summerlin Hospital Medical Center ~ Patient Bed Tower Addition project consisted of a 170,000 SF, 6 story bed tower addition and 40,000 SF of interior renovation.  The steel framed structure is clad in EIFS and glass and the addition ties into the hospital’s central plant, where chillers, boilers and cooling tower were added to service the building.  The bed tower consists of 36 neo-natal intensive care unit (NICU) beds; a new 5-bed triage for labor and delivery; 27 post partum rooms; 34 intensive care unit (ICU) rooms; and 72 patient medical-surgery rooms.  The sixth floor was shelled out for future use as needed, but is capable of adding up to another 36 patient beds.  Paving/grading, concrete curbing and gutters, demolition, on-site utilities and landscaping was also included in the scope of work.

Testimonials

"SR made our priority, to be a functional and operational hospital with a focus on quality and service, their priority by ensuring our needs were always met. Not only was the project completed ahead of schedule, but the hospital has been exceeding our financial expectations over the past 11 months due to the strong collaboration with SR, who ensured our business was also their priority. It would be my pleasure to work on any project with SR again. I would highly recommend SR to any organization."
